I want to wear my hair down for homecoming, but I don't know how to style it....?

Instead of going somewhere to get it done, I'm doing it myself. I have a hair straightener, curling iron, curlers, hair-dryer, round brush, and a few other things. I want my hair down, and probably want some sort of curl (I have slightly past the shoulder length, naturally straight hair). What should I do (Picture please?) and how can I do it?
