I hv heard tht hair straighteners can cause hair to fall. so hw many times can we staighten r hair..in a mnth?

as much as you like, just make sure you have a high quality flat iron, and use a protectant like http://www.folica.com/CHI_44_Iron_Gua_d2...

I hv heard tht hair straighteners can cause hair to fall. so hw many times can we staighten r hair..in a mnth?

i used to straighten my hair everyday and my hair never fell out, and neither did my friends'. there are special products you can get to make sure you hair doesn't dry out, and to help with frizziness.

I hv heard tht hair straighteners can cause hair to fall. so hw many times can we staighten r hair..in a mnth?

It depends I straighten my hair 6 times a month!

I hv heard tht hair straighteners can cause hair to fall. so hw many times can we staighten r hair..in a mnth?

well u dont need to apply alot of heat to your hair or it will damage it so probably 3 to 4 times at the most wrap your hair it will keep u from having ot straighten it all the time

Best hair straighteners under 鎷?0?

i have GHDs and i love them, but im going to uni soon and have to leave them at home for my sister and my mum to use... so seeing as im going to be a student soon, i need some cheap ones! i don't want to buy ones from ebay because if they break i wont have the warrenty. any recommendations?! i'm in the uk by the way.

Best hair straighteners under 鎷?0?

I've had various straighteners for about 15 years now. I have Carmen at the moment. They are ace!!! Ceramic plates and red hot too. Think they were about 鎷?0.00. Good luck at Uni.

Best hair straighteners under 鎷?0?

I have Andrew Collinge ones as i too had GHD but mine died and i couldn't afford 100 quid on GHDs. Andrew Collinge are good ones, ceremic coated plates and they get to 230. I have really thick hair and they get mine stright. They don't give that perfect finish GHDs do but they are good for general use.

Best hair straighteners under 鎷?0?

I got a pair on ideal world tv they were a deal of the day and only cost 鎷?0. They look like ghd's and are really good.

Best hair straighteners under 鎷?0?

BaByliss 2085U Pro 230鎺矯 Straighteners

it heats up to 230 degrees and it should get your hair straight i have only heard good things about them.

You can have it chemically straightened or get a HAI straightener. They are the best ones on the market...they make the CHI look cheap. My friends that are hairstylist only use HAI's. Go talk to the person that does your hair and ask them what they can do to help. Good luck!

Help!what can i do with my hair????!?

Help!what can i do with my hair????!?

Pony tail is best that way it won't get in the way and you won't have to worry about how straight your hair is.

Help!what can i do with my hair????!?

straight hair r not in fashion anymore be more fashionable!!!!!!!!!!!! lolz

Help!what can i do with my hair????!?

Ok, none of the other ones will work!!!

Try these straighten ur hair before the trip and leave it down. When u go to bed put it in a loose braid with a little straightening serum in it. When u wake up the next morning take out the braid and go have a shower. In the shower use a straightening shampoo and conditioner, these should smoothe down the frizz. Brush r hair IN the shower for andy knots or frizzes. Then like RIGHT after u get out of the shower pu it in 2 really tight french braids. When the fall out put ur hair in a messy bun and pull it really tight so it looks strraight.

REPEAT for the next day and night, or just get a battery powered one!!!! : )

Help!what can i do with my hair????!?

Not always the best option, but when in doubt tie it up! Maybe you could ask someone to french pleat it for your or similar - this will give you a tidy up-do for the 2 nights.

Can i take uk hair straighteners to use in usa?

I'm flying into chigaco on wed and have been told by a friend that her straighteners were taken off her at the airport due to voltage differences, has anyone been to the usa lately and experienced this?

Can i take uk hair straighteners to use in usa?

they dont take them off you, no rule against taking wrong voltage hair straightners who are you tying to fool. what reason can they take them off you are they liquid or they sharp stop being stupid

Can i take uk hair straighteners to use in usa?

UK = 240V 50Hz

US = 120V 60Hz

Buy some new ones out there.

Can i take uk hair straighteners to use in usa?

I went to USA in 2003, and took mine with me in my main baggage... they weren't taken away and the only difference was that when I plugged them in, they never reached top temperature. They were hot enough to use, but because of the lower voltage in USA, they had to preheat for longer.

They are GHD's by the way.

Can i take uk hair straighteners to use in usa?

Yes.... keep them in hand Luggage

Can i take uk hair straighteners to use in usa?

I am going to live in the USA.my Son lives their.Hair straighteners are better bought their they are only abought 20 dollers.

Can i take uk hair straighteners to use in usa?

yeah the voltage system is different so you wont be able to use them there. i think you should leave them behind or youll risk them being taken off you at the aiport. buy a cheap one out there or something.

What are the best hair straighteners besides GHDs?

My GHDs have stopped working completely, after less than year....What are the best straighteners, in your opinion, other than GHDs?

What are the best hair straighteners besides GHDs?

I recommend Babyliss Pro 230 straighteners. I got some for Christmas and they are great. My hair is really thick but they still work really well on it and I don't have to separate it into a lot of sections either.

What are the best hair straighteners besides GHDs?

i have a conair professional ceramic straightener. it works great! my hair is super curly but when i use my straightener, it is super straight. it also comes with a 5 yr warrenty.

if you paid that much for a ghd (and i know they're expensive), then it really should have had a warrenty on it that should cover having it less than a year.

What are the best hair straighteners besides GHDs?

In my opinion GHD's are a waste of money,, i know a few people that have had to have theirs replaced a couple of times after less then a year of having them.

I recommend FHI's which i have been told by many people are better/just as good as GHD's.. I say so myself that they are..!! They are cheaper but only by a little bit and come in pink or black (if colour matters).. I have them in pink!! I have had mine for quite a while and not yet have they broken/stopped working!

My hair is naturally curly (ringlet curls) and my hair stays straight all day! This shows how good they really are !

Hope this helps

XX

What are the best hair straighteners besides GHDs?

Try the Remmington Wet2Dry straightner. You can buy it at walmart or anotehr store like it for $25. It works soooo good and doesnt damage your hair.

What are the best hair straighteners besides GHDs?

my straigthener is jilbere de paris definition series.i got it at sally's for a pretty good price.it is a pro one.and gets up to 400 some degrees.i have very thinck wavy hair and it only takes me about 1/2 an hour to straighten when with my old one it took me 1-2hrs.the plates are completely ceramic so your hair is not damaged.and it comes with a 5 year warrenty.hope this helped.

What are the best hair straighteners besides GHDs?

andrew hill available from boots.com

What are the best hair straighteners besides GHDs?

SAKS IONICS PHONE HARTLEPOOL AND THEY LL MAIL YOU SOME GREAT ADVICE GOOD SERVICE.

What are the best hair straighteners besides GHDs?

Ive got the Nicky Clarke proffesional salon straigteners there excellent!! It doesnt take long at all to straighten my hair and there are quite slim so its good for doing you fringe. They also are really good for curling your hair if youve got naturally straight hair. I really recommend these!!!!!

What are the best hair straighteners besides GHDs?

I use Wet2Straight. You can use it to straighten wet hair and it comes out straight. And on dry hair you can use it also. And on damp. You could also set it to how hot you want it and what's best for your hair type.

Hair ideas for school?

Does anyone have any good hair ideas for school? I have thick red hair with little highlights. I own a hair straightener and curler.

Hair ideas for school?

there are lots of options, and I know sometimes i'll forget about all that and get into a ponytail rut.

you could pull half of it into a ponytail and then take the ponytail and what's not in the ponytail and make that into a ponytail.

side ponytails are really cute, esp. if you have clips or ribbons to put in your hair.

headbands for any occasion= adorable.

if you have the time one morning, you could section off the inch closest to your face, and then separate those into eight peices, and make those into little braids. pull your hair back into a ponytail with those on top.

experiment with parts. try it on one side and then the other. try zig-zag parts too.

a low ponytail or messy bun with your hair parted to the side looks pretty good.

i think red hair looks really good long and wavy. if it's naturally wavy, great. if not, use the curling iron. then maybe a green scarf to keep it out of your face.

straighten your hair, then pull back a section of hair about 3" wide at the top of your head and pouf it a little bit, not too much, but so there's body, then pin it about halfway back on your head, and curl the remainders. way cute.

pigtails are cute every once in a while. french braid ones are really cute too. try not to overdo pigtails, though, you might come off as too immature.

section off the inch of hair closest to your face, split it by your natural part, and twist it away from your face. then pull the twisted hair back and clip over wavy hair.

there are plenty more, all you need is imagination!

Hair ideas for school?

That was really good Report It

Hair ideas for school?

I think time-saving would be your #1 concern (it is mine). When my hair was longer I used to do messy buns... they take no time at all and look sexy. A ponytail is boring but an ok standby... I find unless you wash your hair the night before and get up early that curling or straightening takes too much time. Heat styling is damaging anyway, so you could just save it for special occasions?

Hair ideas for school?

A nice simple straight style, maybe with beautiful crystal barrettes or a beautiful hair band.

Hair ideas for school?

Wear blue hair accessories because redheads look great in blue!

Straight and Sleek: Straighten your hair. Clip a blue barette in your hair.

Retro: Wear a blue headband at where your bangs "begin" if you have them, or near your forehead if you don't have bangs. Back comb your hair (brush all of your hair backward so you will see no part.) Spray this with hairspray so it stays in place. Curl the ends of your hair.

Loose waves: Curl your hair with a 1"-2" curling iron. Start so that the ends of your hair are sticking out; don't start at the tip. Spray your waves with hairspray so they don't go flat.

I hope this helps!

Hair ideas for school?

Well I have long bangs and I always pin them back with a cute barette.

Hair ideas for school?

cut your hair with bangs and straighten it once in a while, decorate it with green accessories.

Hair ideas for school?

There are many different kinds.

:]

Hair straightening help???

probablly a CHI.... they have the pink one for breast cancer awareness... most straightners can curl your hair though.. in my openion, the CHI isn't the best buy.. it made my hair frizzy and my hair would break off on the plates.. go to a beauty supple store and get the curlmaster tourmaline ceramic straightner.. my hairstylist even uses it. she had a CHI and would't dare change but i brought her mine, and she quickly changed her mind.. BTW the CHI is like 135 and the curlmaster is only 40... even though it's CHEAP CHEAP it's (in my openion) the best...

but CHI does sell products that are good protectors for your hair.. try CHI.com

Hair straightening help???

GHD its made in italy. and it works great! i have a pink one the only down side to it is that it cost me $200

Hair straightening help???

its the chi iron and they are great cant live without my chi and good products would be either the chi silk or biosilk

Hair falling out?

the hair near the top of my head(like if I part it down the middle) looks like someone took som, scissors and cut it off there's like an inch of hair left and I'm only 16, someone said it might be anesthesia from my surgery about a month ago but it looked like it had been cut a week before my surgrey in one area, it all over now and I also use hair straightener but it never affected me before?

Hair falling out?

taking the right vitamins and supplement in your daily diet would help hair growth, you also need to have head massage for proper blood circulation in the scalp:

Hair Growth Vitamins

http://hair-care-info.blogspot.com/2006/...

Hair Loss Prevention

http://hair-care-info.blogspot.com/2006/...

Hair falling out?

i did read somewhere that anesthesia sometimes does make your hair fall out, you can alwasy just ask your doctor about it. but if its growing back then dont sweat it. lack of vitamins can cause your hair to be fragil, stressing out because of the sergery.

How can I control my frizzy hair?

I originally didn't use conditioner b/c my hair was really oily. Until I started swimming, my hair became dry and frizzy and curlly-ish. I have about 5 bottles of shampoo to maintain my hair, but i still don't get what I want. I don't want to perm it either since my mom won't let me. I can't buy a hair straightener either also b/c my mom denys it. I get made fun of at school b/c of my hair. I'm not really willing to tie up my hair or wear hair assesories.

The shampoo I use is Herbal Essences. If you have any suggests of shampoo(I'm a high school student so I have to maintain about $10-15 budget) can u leave a comment?

How can I control my frizzy hair?

Get Silk Infusion Oil from CHI, available at most salons. It is $13 for the small bottle. Pour about a dime size drop in your hair and rub your hands together then rub through your hair and it will flatten out all those flyways.

If your looking for a good cheap salon quality shampoo, try the Smooth Down shampoo from Paul Mitchell, it's about $9.

How can I control my frizzy hair?

Use a dryer sheet/ fabric softener sheet. take one and sort of run it through your hair, like brushing it.

How can I control my frizzy hair?

get a really good leave in conditioner treatment.

Dove is really good for your hair and gets frizz out well.

good luck.

How can I control my frizzy hair?

Generic brand Tea Trea shampoo/conditioner (compare to pual mitchel on bottle. Generic brand is way less expensive) from sally's beauty supply shop. the tea tree oil s/c balances ph levels and keeps hair from being too oilly or too dry. and it can be used daily. and olive oil on damp hair, if it's still dry/frizzy after it's air dryed (i don't sugest blowdrying) put a little bit more in. remember with olive oil a little bit goes a looooooooooooooong way! also try generic silk therapy. (biosilk)AND LEAV IN TREATMENT. (SEBASTIAN)

How can I control my frizzy hair?

Well first off you are using too much shampoo, one bottle of something anit- frizz will work. Biolage is good, if you would be willing to save your money. Another thing is don't EVER not use conditioner, it replaces necessary oil in your hair and protects is, shampoo is there to strip your hair of the dirt. I would suggest that using the Herbal Essence would be fine. Try Garnier Fructis. And I would purchase some Biosilk it is just for frizzy hair and will calm it down a lot. A dime sized dallop would suffice unless you have hair down to your back then I would use a quarter size dallop. But remember less is more of this product or it will make your hair greasy.

How can I control my frizzy hair?

Find a product such as cholesterol leave in hair treatment. That will help with tangles and frizz. Then you could use something like Frizz ease or serum. If that is too much on the budget I would suggest WAX. It weighs the hair down and gives it a healthy shine. However when you have frizzy hair most of the time you need to tie at least some of it down. As far as shampoo goes give Pantene (or the Equate version) a try...damaged or dry hair. I hope this helps.

How can I control my frizzy hair?

I used to have the same problem as you have but was stopped dead in its tracks when I started using John Frieda products. He has a special serum and a cream called, "Secret Formula" and THEY WORK. Expensive, but it does the job. They're called, "Frizz Ease". They run about $10 to $15 a bottle. Also, my hairdresser told me not to wash my hair every day. Washing it daily strips it of natural oils.

How can I control my frizzy hair?

Sounds like your hair is dehydrated from all the swimming. Shampooing daily to get rid of all the buildup, chlorine, etc. - those can be drying, too. I think a perm would make it all worse.

Get your hair back to normal health! First cut back on shampooing if you can. If you can't always, ALWAYS use a leave in conditioner. If you use conditioner in the shower, use minimal amounts. Hair is like a sponge and it will soak up and SWELL - which equals FRIZZ and flyaways. So use just a little or just the leave in conditioner (even Suave is good or Infusium). Comb it through. I also swear by Garnier Sleek and Shine. I do have a bigger budget and can afford some more expensive products, but there is nothing that compares to the SLEEK AND SHINE for me. I use it after each shampoo, after the leave in conditioner. Use enough to get the ends (you will feel it soften up). I completely notice a difference in my frizz factor if I DO NOT USE THIS STUFF. :)

Then....once a week do a deep conditioning treatment. Let it sit for 15 min. or so with a towel on or a heat cap (I have a heat cap and it is like salon treatment at home). Again, the swimming is drying your hair out and the shampooing is also. Try not to shampoo the roots - it will strip hair of natural oils.

If you can....give your hair a break. If you don't have anywhere to go and have no reason to do your hair, just let it be...give it a breather. I find my hair styles best when I go several days without shampooing if possible.

How can I control my frizzy hair?

shave it off

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

well i have wavy hair and it sucks cuz when i wake up in the morning my hair is like a big ball of frizz! and when i comb it out, its still very frizzy.. i also have side swept bangs and when i comb that out my bangs become frizzy and poofy.. what can i do to prevent this besides a hair straightener? products dont seem to work! help appreciated thanks! :)

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

Wow, I had the VERY same probkem as you do until I actually TRIED to do something about it. Ok, if you haven't tried gel, then use it. Immediately after you take your shower, apply a small amount of gel ( any kind, because I have used a couple to experiment and have gotten the same results) to your hair. It depends on how much hair you have, but a small amount works best for me. Don't use too much, or it will make your hair greasy and nasty. After you have applied gel, ( and scrunched it into your hair) blow it dry. Now, I know that this sounds crazy, because blowing it dry usually makes it frizzy, but it works. Afterward, straighten your hair. I promise it will make your hair shiny and very silky. If it worked for me, it will SURELY work for you! Good luck and Happy New Year!

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

Garnier frizz control works for me.

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

There is Frizz Ease, i think its from John Frieda and friends say it works...

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

omg i have this same problem... you can either use this thing called Pantene Smooth%26amp;Shine Anti-frizz serum after you take a shower or you could buy a hair straightener... no never mind. you didn't want them, right?

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

maybe use some pink hair lotion

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

relax ur hair my older sister had the same exact issue.relaxing is supposed 2 make it easier 4 u 2 deal with %26amp;%26amp; it worked 4 her so maybe it will work 4 u.hoped i helped!

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

lets see have you tried a perm

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

Wow, I have suffered from the frizz for my entire life.

I just started putting flax seed oil in my yogurt every morning for breakfast. After about a month, my hair is shiner and softer than it was when I was 10. It is a miracle...really...not to mention the other benefits like lowering cholestrol.

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

A straightener would be the best way to prevent it...or you could use an anti-frizz cream, and blow-dry your hair straight with a round brush. If you wanted to wear it curly, you could use a curling mousse and dry your hair with a diffuser. Using an anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner would help a lot too. (I use Pantene Ice Shine, and it works great.)

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

Well I had that porblem too I went out and bought a really good de-frizzer ( oyu can get then like nay where) and used it like everyday

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

Sunsilk frizz control (in the green bottles)

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

hmmm, try some frizz hair and conditionors, like pantene, garnier, aussie, suave, etc. then maybe some styling sprays? john freida, is okay it just dosnt work that well for me. styling sprays and hair straighting might work and moose!

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

i have crazy curly hair and i use herbel essence frizz control and it is my savior!!! you can put it in wet hair and blow dry it out or you can use it on dry hair and calm the frizziness.

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

gel, scrunching gel, straightner for the bangs

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

this make take a little while but use sunsilk anti frizz line of products. I dont really recommend the frizz serum but the shampoo and conditioner work really well. Also, to speed up the process, when you put the conditioner in her hair, put on a shower cap (to hold in the heat from the water) for about ten minutes or so and comb through it while the conditioner is in it and after you are done takin a shower.

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

Maybe you should try out a gel called dep number 11 hair spray called rave number 4x after you shower comb hair and apply gel and hairspray do not dry hair

Hair problems.. FRIZZY : (?

i have a few thing ok try sunsilk go to sunsilk.com and get some free samples of the blue pake for poffy hair

Damage Scale 1-10..Uses: Highlights,Perms,Blow-dryers,S... Curling iron...Damage 1-10 on my hair.?

highlights and perms if done by a pro are not as damaging as you blowdrying and curling your hair everyday

Damage Scale 1-10..Uses: Highlights,Perms,Blow-dryers,S... Curling iron...Damage 1-10 on my hair.?

well it depends how often..and who does the perms and highlights...also what products.

Mens frizzy hair!?

i usually have about 3" long hair and i always style it and i love it like that! but when i go to get it cut i cant put product into it, and its as frizzy as hell! i hate going out in public with it like that (which is why i usually get a lift to the barbers!)

what can i do on the days that i don't get a lift?

i don't really want to use sissy products, hair straighteners, frizz control spray etc! home remedies preferred!

Mens frizzy hair!?

Try a Marine issue hair cut. That should take care of the problem....

Semper Fi!

Mens frizzy hair!?

redken smooth down heat glide it's not sissy it's pricy it's $15.99 real salon products

Hair help! pleaseeee?

ok..well how can i make my hair to look really straight!? i use a hair straightener..but i dont want to use it often..what i heard that helps..is getting your hair in layers..and thinning it out..will that help? :(

Hair help! pleaseeee?

I used to be you!! I was so lost in the hair thing so I made my hair stylist give me a crash course on my hair..

If your hair is poofy or frizzy like mine was, layers and thinning aren't gonna help-it's just gonna make it harder to straighten..

Did you know that straighteners don't hurt your hair? That's right, if you use them correctly, they don't hurt it a bit..

Using them correctly basically includes using conditioner in the shower and using a good straightening serum or cream before you use your striaghtener. I use straightening serum from Matrix-it's about $20 for a little bottle but the bottle lasts forever and it really really works! You just work it into your hair before you straighten..

Hope I helped a little..

Good luck :)

Hair help! pleaseeee?

if your hair is really thick then when you get out of the shower take a round brush and blowdry each piece of hair until it looks pretty straight. if your hair is still not as staight as you want then take your straighter. hope this helps

Hair help! pleaseeee?

Rebonding.

You'll need to really take care of your hair with conditioner and treatments, but rebonding is the best!

Hair help! pleaseeee?

Hi,

i know you say you don't like straighteners, but some straighteners don't damage your hair.

If i was you i would take a look at www.t3straighteners.co.uk

Vidal sassoon limited edition hair straighteners.....?

has anyone got these? the white straighteners with the orange flower pattern.i am looking at buying them and i just wondered if they were any good. i cant find any reviews on google! thanks, marie j. x

Vidal sassoon limited edition hair straighteners.....?

Yes they are extremely good.... not quite as good as GHDs but they are good enough 4 me :]

Vidal sassoon limited edition hair straighteners.....?

Get a professional quality straightener that will last a long time, and give you straight, silky hair, like the Chi. It is outstanding quality.

Vidal sassoon limited edition hair straighteners.....?

Please dont go buy that straightener, please trust me, i have the thickest, curlyest hair ever and ive tried those vidal sasoon, revlon, you name it, and they were all a joke and waste of time and money! Finally i asked my hair stylist what was the name of her straightener because it was the only thing that worked on my hair, she said its a HAI, so i went and bought me one and it was worth EVERY penny! it costs about $80-$150, but let me tell u one thing, it makes my hair so straight and soft, its the BEST! so please dont be a fool, because i promise youll just waste your money, none of those other straighteners work, invest in this one and itll last forever like mines. good luck! =)

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

I tend to straighten my hair almost everytime i wash it because I do not like my curly, wavy hair. If I continue to straighten it every two, three or so days, will I loose my hair??

If it is not a good idea to straighten it with a hair straightener then what should I do, since I dont like my natural hair??

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

it depends on your age and if you burn your hair i dont think youll loose it just from straightening it if you do it properly

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

no its okay if u only straighten it everyother day or so.

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

straight perm it.

yes you might lose it

thats very damaging

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

No you will not lose your hair. I do the exact same thing I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week, and I straighten when I do this. I've been doing this for a year and a half now. ^_^ hope i helped

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

you wont lose your hair. however, you may end up with severe split ends which can cause your hair to become dry, frizzy, and lifeless. if you really don't like your natural hair, you could possibly get your hair chemically straightened which lasts for about 6 months.

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

It is okay, you will not loose your hair. I straighten my hair everyday and i still have a head full of hair.

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

You aren't going to lose your hair but the heat will damage it so I suggest you use a product called Shine Infusion by CHI it helps make hair shiny, de-frizzes and also protects your hair from the heat of blow drying and ironing.

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

no if you blow dry and straighten together then it will fall out.

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

To not damage your hair, since you straighten quite often, you should use a hair cream for protecting your hair against the heat of the iron. There should be some at your local drugstore in the hair section.

If I straighten my hair, will I loose it??

No =]

I blow-dry, straighten, and wash my hair everyday and it's thick and shiney

Help me pleaseeeeee. I want my hair back:'(?

First of all, thanks for taking a look.

Here i start.

I've got very curly hair naturally.

Never quite straightened it, so decided to try it.

Went and bought some decent hair straighteners.

Had it straight for about 2 weeks.

Straightened it like 2-3 times a week.

The problem i'm facing now is that it's not as curly as it used to be after i wash it.

The curls look rather messed up now.

And i really want my old hair back:'[

Are there any hair products, anything at all, that i can use?

Pleaseeeee help meeeee.

Thanks.

Help me pleaseeeeee. I want my hair back:'(?

Yes I do.. my hair is the same way because I straightened it..

Well Not anymore:

Try this:

http://www.marcanthony.com/

Its the Curls one it really works and it smells delicious

How to put it on:

Take a shower

Leave your hair damp but not soken

Pour a drop of this product in your hands

Put it in your hair as you scrunch your hair up

Best results if you air dry..

Hope I helped

xoxo

Help me pleaseeeeee. I want my hair back:'(?

Unless you want it to look like pine straw and then all fall out you better just deep-condition it and leave it alone. The hair can only take so much abuse before it turns to mush and falls out.

Help me pleaseeeeee. I want my hair back:'(?

I dunno the first thing about this sort of thing, but perhaps you could go to a professional hairdresser and ask them to sort it out?

Help me pleaseeeeee. I want my hair back:'(?

go to your stylist and explain the situation and she might help you if it isnt already ruined

Help me pleaseeeeee. I want my hair back:'(?

don't straighten your hair anymore for a while k........ now next time you go shopping get some Horse shampoo (i'm not crazy it is in the section with hair products for black people) if u can't find any of it any shampoo down that Isle should do .... also get some of their leave in conditioner........ i realy hope this helps ...... it helped my mom

Help me pleaseeeeee. I want my hair back:'(?

Use L'oreal or Garnier. It may help you.

Help me pleaseeeeee. I want my hair back:'(?

There are a lot of hair products that can help you with your problem. They have curling serums that you apply before blowdrying or if you don't blowdry there are serums that you can apply as a shower and go sort of thing.

I would suggest either bed head products, or even garnier fructis... try to stay away from things like aussie or pantene (they will make your hair greasy and they leave plastic in your hair)

hope this helps you!!!

Help me pleaseeeeee. I want my hair back:'(?

That's strange. I have naturally curly hair, but I straightenit everyday. It always goes back to curly. Did you use any products? I suggest just waiting it out, conditioning your hair a lot, and seeing how it works out. More products will make it worse. You probably just fried your hair straightening it. Don't forget to always use a heat sealer spray before you straighten it.

Help me pleaseeeeee. I want my hair back:'(?

use a deep conditioning treatment once a week and then use a shampoo/conditioner for curly hair.

there is a curly hair conditioner in a green bottle i think its fructis garnier thats really good and makes my curls frizz free and more defined. try it i cant remember the price but its only a couple of pound i think and it works brilliantly for me .

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

Hi, I use a hair straightener but my hair doesn't get straight. it gets worse then when i started. can someone tell me why this is happening and how i can make it stop and also what products to use and the price of the products? i want my hair to be really really straight and smooth so please help me!

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

you might want to try John Freida hair straightening products starting with shampoo-conditioner-serum- and then balm before blow drying with a round brush -- be sure to angle the dryer down the hair then when dry hit the cool button on you hair dryer to set in the straight- you might also want to finish up with straightening iron and frizz control hairspray-- if that doesn't work you might want to have a relaxer from the salon put in your hair.

good luck!

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

If you go to a salon and buy a straightener there they work WAY better than like wal-marts

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

If you use a hair straightener and it doesn't work, than you probably need to get a new one. The Conair INFINITI hair dryer straightener works the best.

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

go to the hair salon. they will do it for you and ask for their suggestions.

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

when you straiten your hair use a blow direr and then use a heat straightener

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

I use a straightener named Andis its the 1 inch thinck one. I got it from walmart for about 15 bucks. I recently learned how to straighten my hair and it works great. It has up to 20 settings so that you can adjust it to your hair texture and needs. I suggest not putting a lot of heavy chemicals on your hair before straightening, though keep it moisturized. Also straighten it in small pieces, and go slow that always works for me.

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

Go to any store around hair spray and gels and you can find many sprays that you spray on before u straighten your hair and it makes it smooth and silky and get the infinity straightener bc it it GREAT.. works wonders through your hair.

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

its frizz, the heat is lifting the "tiles" of your hair making it porus, the heat is drying out your hair

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

Every time you use a chemical relaxer it breaks the bonds down in your hair-- thus making it weaker. If you don't get trims regularly , you'll just keep breaking the bonds in the same hairs over and over again until it looks "fried". It'll look rough and frizzy and feel dry.

It's probably time to give your hairs a rest , chemically speaking . Give it a good trim, or cut, and let those healthy hairs grow out.

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

don't do it your self, if you don't want to pay a lot go to a Dominican hair salon o Washington high, the are very well train for this tipe of hair, i tell you this cause i I'm a hair stylist

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

First of all you have to 'class' your hair. When I say that I mean, you need to know what type of hair you have to purchase the right products that will work for you. For example, I have curly/frizzy hair. My hair also acts up depending on the weather (gets really frizzy when it's hot or damp outside). To get my hair straight, I use Frizz Ease (John Frieda) after shampooing %26amp; deep conditioning. If I run out of that I use cholesterol conditioner after shampooing and I leave it in about 30 mins. I always let my hair naturally dry (because I don't want to over process it by blow drying it %26amp; flat ironing it) Then I straighten it with flat irons. I also always wrap it up at night with a scarf.

Just remember too much of anything can be bad...even for your hair. You can't try to straighten it every day! You have to train your hair...it's a process.

Hope I've helped :)

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

First thing is set your flat iron on its highest setting.Depending on what type of iron you have you may have to go over each section of hair a few times. It is always good to spray your hair with some hairspray or a spray shine before flatironing. If your hair is still not getting straight you need to purchase a better iron. The newest technology is ceramic irons that most salons sell between 30-100 dollars.Tigi makes a great iron and has wonderful hair products for keeping your hair straight.Check out the Control Freak products by Tigi Bedhead. There iron is called smooth operator. You can get more info at tigihaircare.com.You can even find a salon in your area from this website.

HAIR HELP!!! (please)?

You have to blow dry it first and use the iron when it is completely dried otherwise it freezes. Something else you should consider is dividing your hair to small THIN sections, iron them separately from the bottom part of your head to the top. There are lots of products you can use but there is one thing that works really well: the old fashion hair conditioner AFTER the shower. Use just a little bit of conditioner on your wet hair, blow dry it and then use the straightening iron on the dried hair. Something else that helps is to use hair spray. When you are almost done with ironing, on the parts that you want really really straight just spray some hair spray and iron it again. Take small bunches, spray them and immediately iron over it. IMMEDIATELY otherwise the hair spray dries out.

What causes my hair to fall?

Im only 16 and each time i run my hand through my hair , im left with about 20 strands of hair in my hand.

Sometimes it just falls by itself onto my shirt.

I used to use a hair straightener daily about 2-3 months ago, but only after i stopped using it i noticed my hair was falling.

The doctor told me it could be due to stress....but i havent stressed over anything lately.

I have naturally thin hair so i really dont want to lose anymore of it.

Could someone please help?

What causes my hair to fall?

you might just be noticing it now because you stopped using the straightener. hair falls out naturally, but when you don't brush your hair a lot, and if it's not perfectly straight from the straightener, hairs fall out but stay tangled up in your hair. so they don't come off of your head until you run your hand through and get a handful of hair. try brushing your hair more and see what happens.

even though your hair is already thin, i wouldn't worry about it unless you notice it getting even thinner.

What causes my hair to fall?

you lose about 100 hairs a day naturally...so it may not be due to stress

What causes my hair to fall?

this is exactly like my sister! she too is facing this problem...

okay besides a straightener limit your hair drying using a hot dryer...also this could be scalp condition so seek advice from a skin centre or a tricologist who specialise in hair...

try out TCM (traditional chinese medicine) because they have different methods to treat but seek a specialist first. ginseng root extract apparently helps but do check it out first...

cheers~

What causes my hair to fall?

try braiding................and stop combing too much

What causes my hair to fall?

try not to use anything that can pull hair out (i.e. a big brush, rubber bands for pony tails, try not to run your hands thru it too much, don't rub it with a towel, no heat.)

What causes my hair to fall?

Hey, I have heaps of hair, and every time I run my fingers through I have hairs in my fingers and when I comb I have a way hairy comb, its a natural thing , I know, but it makes me wonder why Im not bald but I am not, there are way many hairs on your head, dont worry, Your fine.....

My hair is crazy plz help me!!?

okay my hair is like a frizz machine and i hav tried many different hair products but some are to pricey. i try to straighten my frizzy curls but that just makes the frizz worse!! and i hav a rele rele expensive hair straightener! do u know of any hair products that will help and are not expensive [[under $80]]

My hair is crazy plz help me!!?

I feel your pain. I have the same problem. I got a chemical straightener put on my hair. It worked for a while but I still have to use different products. One that I've found that really works is Silk Drops hair serum. I got it from Wal-Mart. I also use a heat protection spray before I use a heated tool. Use shampoo and conditioners made for frizzy hair. It may not seem like they help but after a while you will notice a difference. My shampoo, conditioner, and heat protection spray are all made by Suave. Its call Sleek. Give it a try for a month or 2 before you give up on it.

My hair is crazy plz help me!!?

u should straighten ur hair then put hair spray on it it should work.

Frzzy hair?

i have shoulder length frizzy brown/black hair. its dull curly/wavy and very thick and frzzy. i want to make it shiney and smooth and less frzzy but i want to keep the waves and if possible get more curls and keep the curls in place. i prefer natural tretment but products are ok if they are not too scarce and easy to find i would alsolike one product for most of my needs rather then seperate ones and i am not allowed to use hair straighteners/curlers/crimpers etc.

Frzzy hair?

i use a little gel or foam

Frzzy hair?

I recommend sleek and shine from garner fructis.

Frzzy hair?

there is some serum you can buy its called frizz ease its clear and oily just put it in your hair after you wash it there are alot of different serums and you can get it at walmart Walgreen's those places and also there is a shampoo sun silk its for frizzy hair just use the shampoo and conditioner its only like a total of $10 and there are millions of shampoos you can use a blow dryer to straighten or curl you hair it doesn't damage your hair you can buy the curling rolls and put them in your hair while its wet then blow dry it and voila perfect curls then put some a little bit of that hair serum to straighten you hair its harder you separate your hair get a blow dryer then stretch a Peace of hair long (while its wet)then blow dry it but you should be fine with the shampoo and conditioner its called sun silk and frizz ease that should bring out your beautiful curls i had the same problem its okay

Frzzy hair?

i also have the same problem but i don't know if were looking for the same results. i was trying to do the wavy thing but my hair just always came out too curly. so i just tried the shampoo called Garnier Fructis sleek and shine and i love the results. i could feel my hair sleeking down as soon as i washed it out! i was amazed because i had never felt any thing do that to my hair before with no heat or any thing. i felt like i could go and straighten it and it would be no frizz and it would be beautiful. so try it out!

Frzzy hair?

well,I think u should do well with a nice shampoo %26amp; conditioner. For shine after washiing hairs rinse it with a water made of a lemon mix in a liter of water. For healthy curls use natural oils such as cocounut our almond one but dont forget to wash them after a 12 hour stand.make sure that ur hairs stay moist it ll make it easy to handle.I also ve the same problem %26amp; I use Livon.its an oil %26amp; i dont know it is available at ur place or not.So try nature %26amp; if something goes wrong consult a dermatologist as fast as u can.See u then.

good luck

Frzzy hair?

The absolute best is a product called Silk Drops from FX Special Effects. You can get it at any Walgreens or CVS.

Frzzy hair?

wow, it sounds like we have the same hair texture! my hair is sometimes curly on its on though, but i tend to use garnier f. products in my hair. i sometimes wet it (i have a slight texturizer tho to control the frizz) and pull it back and put garnier conditioner in my hair, the lotion, and the holding/sculpting gel as well to keep my hair shiny, and to keep it from heavy breakage. i hope i helped you alil!

Frzzy hair?

You nead to use Arbonne shampoo, conditioner and hair protectant. Arbonne uses no mineral oil animal products or by-products. I had shag carpet on my head and thought I would have to cut it e-mail me Ill send you a sample

Frzzy hair?

The name of the product is "FRIZZ-EEZE" it works GREAT. it may be a little expensive(.05 fl.oz is like $5) but all you need is a drop and it works wonders on wet or dry hair.

Hair Straighteners: GHD vs Chi?

GHD are a market leader and for good reasons so I'll be siding with them (although do read reviews before buying as there's one model that was prone to dodgy wiring).

Hair Straighteners: GHD vs Chi?

Chi FTW!!

Hair Straighteners: GHD vs Chi?

I'd use a Chi, and I do use them in a salon. Use a product for styling to protect your hair from the heat.

CHI or Paul Mitchell hair straightenters?

i always straighten my hair, and the cheap drugstore hair straighteners never work, so please don't recommend the wet to straight, revlon, or anything. They don't work.

But recently, my sister went to college and took our hair straightener that we shared. I'm looking into buying a CHI or Paul Mitchell.

Does anyone have an opinion on which is better? I haven't heard much about the paul mitchell...how is it?

thanks!

CHI or Paul Mitchell hair straightenters?

I personally love the CHI. All of the stylists in my salon, including myself, all use it. Its worth every penny.

CHI or Paul Mitchell hair straightenters?

Paul mitchell is the best !!!IT WORKS PERFECTLY and it doesnt damage your hair,it has diffrent heat settings, perfect

CHI or Paul Mitchell hair straightenters?

i have both and they work oh so well. i use the paul mitchel more because it protects my hair a lill while im striaghtening it. and because my CHI is broken. but they are both really good. i recommend both

CHI or Paul Mitchell hair straightenters?

sorri, i haven't heard of either... but the best by far has got to be ghd, i know sum1 hu has 1. its wiked! ive got andrew collinge... wudn't recommend it though ;)

CHI is amazing, I swear. Haven't heard much about the Paul Mitchell ones though.

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How ba

I'm a 16 year old boy, and it's been like a month since I was straightening my hair with a hair straightener almost every three days - That's making it straight. So, is it dangerous for guys like us and does it really cause hair loss and damage. And finally, if it does any harm, are there any ways to protect the hair or something as tips and advices, thanks.

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How bad is it?

Dark Red....,

Straightening your hair is no more harmful than straightening a girl's hair....after all, you are human...right?

Seriously, the only harm that can be done is breakage due to accessive use of the flat iron, or if the temperature is set too high on the appliance, both of which can cause dry and brittle hair, leading to hair loss. (Not sexy to be a 16 year old bald guy.)

What I will suggest is when you do use them, make sure they are just hot enough, but not too hot. Also, use a protective moisturizer for those ends, especially if you have color-treated hair. Also, if you are going to straighten your hair everyday, shampoo and condition it atleast every 2 days (don't have time for a deep conditioner? do a leave-in one), and get regular trims by a barber every 2 to 3 weeks.

I know because you're a guy, these things can sound like a pain, but, it's worth protecting your hair.

Good Luck!

B

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How bad is it?

no have fun boy!

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How bad is it?

why would it be dangerous?

The company wouldnt market the product if they didnt think the consumers were going to use it everyday

Its fine as llong as you dont overprocess your hair...just add conditioner or buy biosilk

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How bad is it?

As long as you are not "tugging" on your hair, it is fine. Straighten away!

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How bad is it?

any heat is damaging,i would use a good conditioner in the shower, use a heat protectant spray on the hair, and use some product after such as paul mitchell gloss drops. or on wet hair paul mitchell super skinny.

just want to keep it nourished.

as far as it being worse on a guy than a girl,i would say no,but i am no expert.

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How bad is it?

the heat can be bad for your hair if you straighten it most days of the week...and you'll know when you start getting split ends. for the most part, as a guy, you are probably cutting your hair fairly often so it really shouldnt be too big a deal

as far as hair loss, like someone else said, unless you are ripping your hair out, there is absolutely no risk of early balding

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How bad is it?

wow seriously nothing bad will happen and just have fun i have curly hair so i striaght it almost everyday like you

man if you have to straight out your hair for a guy like it must be longer than shoulder length right lols

just have fun

ps always use conditioner

we,us girls know

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How bad is it?

It's no better or worse for teenage boys than for anyone else.

Hair straighteners don't cause hair loss. They do, however, use heat to straighten the hair, and this can make it dry and frizzy. You can get a lot of good protective styling sprays to protect the hair while you straighten it; most of these will also help keep your style for longer, too.

Look in your local pharmacy for anything called "blow drying spray" or "protective spray for heat styling", etc. Not "hairspray" - that's a different product!

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How bad is it?

not dangerous at all. it could damage your hair though if the heat is on too high for your hair type. do you know your hiar type? is it fair, medium, or thick? if fair, low heat, medium, well, medim heat, and thick... well you get the picture. if you really wanna protect your hair, you can get some type of pomade or straightening gel to put on before you straighten your hair

Nope your good to go!

Is hair straighting (or ironing, something like that) dangerous and harmful for teenage guys? How bad is it?

Its going to cause damage no matter if your a girl or a guy. You may want to apply a thermal protector or straightening balm to minimize damage. You can find these products at any store or salon.

Is Hair relaxing worth having ??

I have mega frizzy and curly hair. And i mean mega !! Would it be worth paying in a salon to get it relaxed or wont it make much difference . I currently straighten it with hair straighteners but it doesn't stay straight for any longer than half an hour. PLEASE HELP!! X

Is Hair relaxing worth having ??

There are pros and cons.

You can relax your hair for an expensive price at the salon. Then you will have to keep going back allllllll the time possibly every month to have touch ups.

You can relax your hair yourself or a buddy can do it with an inexpensive home kit. Then you will still have to keep doing it again allllllll the time possibly every month to have touch ups.

Either way if you don't keep doing it your hair will definately break off.

Or you could just embrace your curls and search for a nice style in the salon or in a nice hair magazine that you like. All hair is different and even though you feel yours could not get worse. Trust me I have seen worse.

Is Hair relaxing worth having ??

the salon may have one strong enough to relax it for a while longer. May not be cheap but if you're willing to pay, try it. If you are white, you may need the stronger solutions that blacks use.

Is Hair relaxing worth having ??

if your going to have the salon do it then it's fine, you should never do it yourself. Alot of people don't agree with it because your putting chemicals in your hair but EVERYTHING you use has chemicals and i bet those people don't have the type of hair that needs relaxing. I get my hair relaxed every 6 weeks by a professional and i have no breakage no split ends and healthy hair NEVER DO IT YOURSELF. do know that once you do it though there is no going back then you will have severly damaged hair so once you make the decision it is a life long commitment. so good luck choose wisely

Is Hair relaxing worth having ??

in my opinion and with my hair its not worth it at all. i have super curly hair and even going to a salon to get it relaxed didn't work for much longer than 3 washes then it curled right back up. finally i just gave up trying to relax and straighten it. it was a waste of money for my hair

Is Hair relaxing worth having ??

yes it's worth it but i relax my own hair to save money from going to salon and my hair turns out perfect without all of the expenses...i don't relax it too much tho and i flat iron once a week and just wrap my hair, been working fine for me.

Hair straighteners?? wal-mart?

Select Pro Gold 1875 Pro Styler Dryer with Tourmaline...does anyone know if its good??

Hair straighteners?? wal-mart?

All straighteners found at walmart are cheap and crappy. Therer are straighteners out there which can make your hair straight for as long as your hair is dry. They cost around 100 bucks or so but last a lifetime. Here's a list of the best straighteners you can get, if you're interested.

http://www.folica.com/appliances/straigh...

Hair straighteners?? wal-mart?

Don't skimp on a straightener. A good one will cost you more, but you have to use it less - which means you don't do as much damage to your hair. A good one will heat up realllllly well. Therefore you should only have to run it down your hair once or twice. Walmart brands and such, you have to run down a few times. More heat = more damage. I suggest a Chi.

And no matter what brand you use - get a heat protection product for your hair. It will guard against heat damage. Never straighten your hair w/o any heat protection product in it.

Hair straighteners?? wal-mart?

if your hair is thick and naturally curly/frizzy, you will only achieve straight hair with something like a CHI flat iron

but if your hair is thin and easier to style then it should work

Hair straighteners?? wal-mart?

Use a regular iron for clothes if you have one...works better. Also use a really good moisturizer so it doesnt ruin your hair. But alot of ppl think its bad to use irons...but its the same concept right??

Hair straighteners?? wal-mart?

My sister bought a hair straightener at walmart and it works really good for her, she has really thick curly hair 7 shes learned to manage it really well and she uses it alot, so it must b good try it dont spend too much money on something that my break or damage your hair

Hair straighteners?? wal-mart?

i have that one! it heats up in 30 seconds! It works great!! Get it! I love mine!!

Hair straighteners?? wal-mart?

nooo target! lol i have a really good 1 from there and it was cheap 2 like $14

HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, they have some on eBay?

called "jolie" and they say that they are them same as GHD, is this true?

HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, they have some on eBay?

None are the same as GHD, i have yet to find as good or better with long term use and i am a hairdresser. My last pair of GHDs lasted 5 years. Some Remmington ones i thought were as good lasted 7 months.

HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, they have some on eBay?

No, nothing beats a GHD!

HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, they have some on eBay?

this is the BEST hair straightner I've ever ever used...trust me it is GREAT

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Edition-Coriolis...

HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, they have some on eBay?

no i noticed them

they are fakes

they just advertise them and say they are just like "ghds" but theyy are not

HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, they have some on eBay?

No there not a GHD brand. I don't have GHDs but I wouldn't use a none reputuable brand of hair straightners. They might not be reliable.

I use Nicky clarke hair straightners, these work well and I only paid 3 pounds for them on ebay!!

HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, they have some on eBay?

Okay I know I'm not answering the question but without a doubt the chi is the most amazing straightener ever. My mom has struggled with her frizz and curls for ten years she's researched and tried different straightners the other day we went to the beasuty shop and the lady straightened her hair in no time flat and so mom asked what the name of it was and the lady said it was a chi straightner.

HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, they have some on eBay?

Hi,

There are a lot of reports of fraud related to GHD hair straighteners on ebay. In fact, there have been over 300 reports of fake GHD flat irons sold on ebay UK.

So, I stopped checking ebay a long time ago for deals unless I cannot find it anywhere else. The reason is because it is so easy for a company to head over to Asia and have a product 'cloned' so they can sell fakes for a profit. If the price is too good to be true, chances are it is.

If you really cannot afford a GHD (they have an amazing reputation actually), then the Original CHI is less than $90

HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, they have some on eBay?

not sure if the prices are good but you can get ghd here,

you take your chance on ebay most of it is deals but as said by the person above.

HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, they have some on eBay?

Nope - ghds will be advertised as ghd.

Try here all of their ghds have the authentic ghd seal. http://www.salonlines.co.uk/hair-straigh...

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

My hair is wavy and thick and goes down to the shoulders. I am mostly Irish, with fair skin, freckles, and blue blue eyes. My hair is blondish, but I have never been able to get it to stay straight! I have tried "Straighten Up" shampoo and conditioner from SunSilk, a hair straightener with 25 heat settings AND turbo, and FrizzEase serum and creams. No matter what, my hair frizzes up and doesn't stay straight. Do any products work for extremely unruly hair? I'm losing faith in hair products!!!

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

you can get your hair relaxed.. or a "progressive blow dry"

the " progressive blow dry " is 2 step process in which the stylist applies the chemicals and creams in your hair then blows it out then irons it. you then cant wet it or tie it for 3-4 days just to make sure the stuff sets in... after that you might not even need to blow dry your hair until your roots grow back out .... long enough to be noticed that is...

this process can't be done on any one because if you have weak hair the chemicals might cause the hair to fall out... this is why you must hydrate your hair with cream treat ments so it is strong...

and also you should see a hair stylist before you try anything... you might want to see one at an ethnic salon because they have more experience with curly or " nappy" hair

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

dang girl!!! try to condition it more...maybe it will work

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

go to the solon and get a permanant relaxer.

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

those products dont work, just buy the home straightning kit at a drug store, have someone to help, adn your hair would be really smooth adn strait!

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

i am tired i have the same thing i have alot of irish in me to i think everyone hates me but oh well i feel the same way about hair products i have the same prob. i use a straightner and then i put hair gel in then if you get it wet it will curl my friend has a hundred dolar straightner it works real good and holds for 3 days!!!

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

sister i know what you are saying i jest cut my hair it fools so much better but who do you sleep

w/ it down or up

if you sleep w/ it down it makes i a lot frizzier

but try sleeping w/ your hair in a quick fix bun when its wet some times it works some times not but make shore when you get up that you use hair spry

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

try vo5 mosse

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

i have the same problem.. some ppl told me to use conditioner alot. I cant tell if it is really working tho. i just want u to know that ur not alone! :)

if u do find anything that works please let me know somehow

thanks

good luck!

I want my hair to be straight, but no matter what I do, it just waves up an hour or so later.?

I have the same exact problem. I have think, wavy hair and I like it straight. I don't even bother with a blow dryer because my hair will just frizz. So i shower @ night, with my hair in low pony tail (this keeps the roots flat so you don't have to bother tring to get those down and straight). Then i use this product by Herbal Essences called "dangerously straight", spray that on my hair and straighten over it.

It's been working for me so far. Hope this helps!

Hair straightening advice for thin fine hair!?

Hi

My hair are really and fine with tendency to frizz. They are mostly straight but since they are fine they tend to curl in middle and ends. I have bangs and so I need something straighten them out. I am planning to buy hair straightener but have no idea which one to go for. Most people seem to recommend chi but I don't want to spend that much money. Also I don't really have too curly hair in first place.

Hair straightening advice for thin fine hair!?

i use the brand hot tools...its works amazing, i have really thin hair too so i know what you're talking about and i would definitely recommend hot tools

Hair straightening advice for thin fine hair!?

shave ur hair!

Hair straightening advice for thin fine hair!?

My advice would be to not get hair straightners my sister used them all the time and ended up having bald patches because her hair was thin. thin hair can't have heat that's what makes it thinner!!!! Get a thickening shampoo and conditioner!!! i take vitamins especially for hair they work great in a few weeks

Hair straightening advice for thin fine hair!?

You should try going with curly instead of straight. I don't recommend straight hair for thin haired people.

Hair straightening advice for thin fine hair!?

buy a gvp its a the generic for a chi have one love it...leaves hair straight and soft.. pay for a good one dont want to damage hair...

Hair straightening advice for thin fine hair!?

You need one with thin blades. I myself have fine hair and bangs and I only straighten it now again. Try and find one with thin blades and before you straighten it use a Heat Defence Spray on it. Tre Semme is good for those. Hope this helps.

Hair straightening advice for thin fine hair!?

I also have thin hair and I use a CHI and absolutly love it! It keeps your hair looking shiny! It is a little expensive (about $100.00-$150.00) but if you just save a little from each paycheck you can get one in a hurry, I've had mine for 5 years and it still works great! It will surely last you a long time and could save you from buying countless straighteners trying to find a good one!

Good luck!

Hair straightening advice for thin fine hair!?

How to keep hair straight?

so i've got all kinds of different hair straighteners and they all work, but somehow my hair doesn't stay straight.

it starts to curve in, so my hair ends up looking like a bowl cut.

i don't think it has anything to do with my layers, or maybe it does, but is there anyway to stop this from happening?

How to keep hair straight?

Buy John Frieda Frizz Ease

How to keep hair straight?

well you can just straiten it alot over and over and then it will stay strait all day and if it doesn't work then just straiten it then use hairspray then it might work.

How to keep hair straight?

there is strighting gel u can buy at a drugstore to put in u hair before u strighten it and when i use it my hair stays stright and it makes it look shiny to it only cost like 3 bucks

HOw to create wavy/curls with a straightener?

my friend always has loose kind of all over the place wavys and curls that look great. she says she does it with her hair straightener but i dont know how to do it. she said she twists it but i cant do it. any help?

HOw to create wavy/curls with a straightener?

ok... you need a straightner which is quite round at the front... i use GHD straightners, they have a small plate...

I had trouble putting curls in my hair at first with the straigtner, but what you need to do is... grab some piece of your hair and then turn the straigtner upwards and around, and then just pull it downwards... it takes much practice! it took me about 2 weeks to get it right.. so dont get upset if you dont get it the first time just keep practicing.

HOw to create wavy/curls with a straightener?

u canask yr friend 2 come over to yr place %26amp; help it out.

or form plaited tail and then use a straitener.

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh272...

P.S. Well i want to have this hair without any gels pomades hair straighteners or any of that stuff.

How do i get my hair like h=this?

Grow it out long, and, like the person above me said, blow dry. Haha, your little avatar thing looks nothing like your pics. =] Anyway, if all else fails, go to a salon (er, a barber shop I guess since you're a dude) and show them the pics of the style you want and they can do it. They'll also tell you how to upkeep it and get it looking like that everyday. Good luck =]

How do i get my hair like h=this?

BLOW DRYING

How do i get my hair like h=this?

you're going to have to layer ur hair so it becomes more like the second picture.

i dont think you have to straighten ur hair tho

just blow dry after showers

How do i get my hair like h=this?

you can't get that without any of that stuff. you need a blow dryer or a straightener.

How do i get my hair like h=this?

all i can suggest is straightening it. Sorry.

But you could wash it with the "extra striaght" shampoo by bed head, or herbal essence.

閳?hope i helped =] 閳?br>How do i get my hair like h=this?

Just do the blow drying part of this vid

and dont even care bout the gurl hehe

just the hair it help a lot

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rH06GZ809...

or ccurl/straight it by straightner

How do i get my hair like h=this?

flat iorn it

How do i get my hair like h=this?

get a layered choppy cut and a blow dryer. it also looks like he used some straight serum. Bumble and bumble makes a really good one. it will help keep your hair straight with any moisture in the air it will also give you that shine

How do i get my hair like h=this?

what you can do is cut it just a little bit ,Then blow dry it straight after put th shinny stuff for hair you will have the same hair as the first pic of the hair you want.

How do i get my hair like h=this?

Because your own hair is thick and wavy, you really need to go to a salon and have your hair thinned and layered.

Then it will be easy to blow dry your hair after washing it and use your brush to make it look similar to the pics you showed us.

Depending on the thickness of your hair, you may have to have your hair thinned and straightened in order to get the look you want.

You should know that not all hair styles will work for all types of hair.

Good luck.
