How do i curl my hair with GHD wide plates?

i have GHD wide plate hair straighteners, and i wanted to know how i curl my hair. I have long hair...half way down my back??

i know you can do it because i saw that woman do it on that bbc 1 show when an old man had to take on this 17 year old girl in haidressing and she did it really nicely with the same straighteners as me...

How do i curl my hair with GHD wide plates?

basically when you hold the straighteners instead of going straight down like you're going to straighten it, you bend it 180 degrees (flip them over) and straighten like normal. then when you've done that you just twist it with your fingers and it'll come out like a proper curl. \ / pretend those straight lines are your straighteners the second line is how the straighteners should be flipped.

I'm not sure about wide plates. I think it works the same. But anyway this is what you do:

(Let's say you're doing the left side of your hair)

1. Hold the strip of hair out that needs curling.

2. Clamp the striaghteners down at the top of hair.

3. Then fold your hair so it creates an 'L' shape.

4. Move your straightener down the strip of hair rotating it slightly anti-clockwise (opposite for right side of your head).

5. Once you get to the bottom, release the straighteners and you should have a curl.

You should have recieved a DVD with your straighteners showing you how; if you have the newest ones.

Edit: it may be difficult at first but you should get the hang of it %26amp; sorry if you don't understand, it's quite hard to explain.

i have GHD wide plates and i just do it the same sd you would with normal ones. I twist it round at the top and the pull straight down but you can twist all the way down. either way gives good results. the curls are alot looser than with normal plates but it still goes nice :]
