Don't roll the straightener up in your hair.. it will get kinks in it from the edges of the straightener and it can easily burn your hair because they get waaay hotter than a curling iron.

You can take a strand of your hair and twist the straightener as you are going down the length of your hair. It won't be curly but it will be a little wavy.

Thats a contradiction in terms. If you want to curl your hair, you use curling items like curling irons, curlers, perms. If you want to straighten your hair you use relaxers or flat irons. I don't do hair, but I believe that the first step in either straightening or perming is the same, that is, weakening the hair so it will take on the new shape. I strongly recommend that you don't mess around with this yourself. If money is a problem, go to a beauty school and have it done.

Put the straighteners at the top of this piece and twist...spiraling downwards, you will have to twist your hand round a little so it is actually easier to use curlers.
