it really does fry it, (my friend has one) but not horrible. if you use it everyday, then yes it will be completely fried. But it does straighten hair good, it just kills it though. Dont believe in the wet to dry straigtheners; they just dry out your hair even more when its wet. oh and your hair has to be slightly damp, not damp or wet, slightly damp. so yeah it sucks kinda. i would reccomend a conair ceramic one if youre trying to save money or a sedu, ghd, or chi if you have a little more spending money ;)

a $40 straightener that you can get a beauty supply store like Ulta is great but not the most expensive or best, it straightens better than the drugstore ones though.

have any more questions email me:)

The bast staighteners are the Ultra Chi and FHI but those r very expensive, go to a place like utla and ask the sales person, u r supposed to straighten only damp to dry hair, be sure to use protecting lotion on ur hair.

Okay, yea they work, but it frys your hair! and yea straightning your dry hair gets fryed too but not as quick or as much.

It will work on both wet and dry hair.

I got mine at CVS lol it works great and they have some there for both wet and dry, but its really not good for your hair! I recommend just using it on dry hair.

Good Luck!

Put it this way... if this product were okay for the hair, you would have seen it in salon's first. I am a hairstylist, and this sounds like a dream come true in theory. The reality of it though is that it literally boils the hair dry. This is so damaging to the hair, and I wouldn't even recommend trying it once. Sorry.... i wish it worked too!! Hope this helps!

I have the wet 2 straight iron. it works really good on dry hair because that all i use i for and it works OK on damp hair. i dont ever really use it for damp hair but no it doesnt damage it. only the irons that arent made for that damage your hair. But i would reccomend that wet 2 straight iron! i l-o-v-e it!

The best is a product called Straighten Out from FX Special Effects. You can get it at any Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. You'll love it!
