take some hair, not too much, about an inch wide, twist it from scalp to base, keep twisting till its all wound round all the way down, holding the tip, wind it around your finger till its rilled up to almosst your scalp, take out your finger and hold it flat, like a coil of rope? and place between the plates of your iron and hold a few secs, release, hey presto

if you want you can spritz a little holding spray before you wind for extra hold, it sounds complicated but thats just because its written down, once you do it a couple of times you wont think about it Good luck

I think it depends how long your hair is. Mine is an 1 inch past my shoulders and when I try it it doesn't work so I just use the curling iron. It also depends on who many times your hair can wrap around the straightener. I also think you would need one of those skinny straighteners for best results.

I wrote this to another girl the other week....putting straightners on your hair and winding them is not a good idea, it basically gives uneven heat and you may as well burn a bit of your hair.

if u have thin straightners,wrap ur hair round them,bt i personally wouldnt do that. In our salon we got tin foil and rolled it into a long sausage shape(stay with me!) wrap a section of hair in it,and twist the ends of the tin foil so it stays in. Do this with all ur hair til u luk like a dodgy princess lela. Get ur straightners, and clamp them over each tin foiled hair section bun thing, go round the hair a few times. Alternativly use a dryer. Let them cool, and whip them out, use ur hands to rake through ur hair til u get the look. The point in the foil is that it is a conductor for heat. Or whatever.u know what i mean!
