okay well i already have pretty long hair but i recently got my hair dyed and the hairdresser trimmed my ends but for some reason it just got like shorter and it doesnt look like it was just a trim :(
but i also have really frizzy, split ends and all that stuff in my hair from dying it and i blowdry and straighten my hair every single day so i was wondering if i went like a week for two without putting any heat in my hair (straighteners, blowdrying, curling irons) if it will grow?

trimming your hair will help it grow faster, plus it's good for you because you need to get rid of those split ends

Giving it a break would help it, but it wouldn't grow back just like that in two weeks. Hair usually grows 1/2 every month, so two weeks won't give it an extreme amount of growth time, but it will help.
