My hair is all frizzy and a little thick and I have tried putting conditioner in my hair but it makes my hair worse.I hate using hair spray because it makes my hair all hard.Does hair cream work and what about hair straighteners???? I was told they help with frizziness.I already have straight hair but its really weird.My mom told me that its the water too because we got city water.What do ya'll use as creams and shampoos and conditioners that are cheap.My parents refuse to get me the good hair stuff and I don't have any money.Help?

Hi, I am a cosmetologist and I think I may be able to help. First of all, you may not be using the right type of conditioner for your hair type. Have you tried SunSilk or Pantene Pro-V? They are not expensive and they are great. You can put a comb or brush attachment on your blow dryer too. They cost about $5. Make sure you use a heat protecting cream or spray when you use your flat iron. Andis straighteners cost about $15 and you can get them from Walmart. You should probably get one that is smaller than 2", they work better for your type of hair. If you want, you can also get a bottle of smoothing serum for fly-a-ways. If you still aren't sure, you can email me and ask more questions or go to a salon. If you can't afford a salon, ask your mom to take you to a hair school. It is half price and you get more than one stylist to work on your hair. You won't get messed up wither because the teachers do no allow that to happen. I hope I've helped!

Ok first off, go get yourself a CHI straightener. To style it, first spray Instacure from Matrix Essentials in you hair to make it healthy and feel soft, then straighten your hair. After styling, use a dab of Silk Infusion oil from CHI to smooth down frizz.

If you can't afford a CHI, at least get a good ceramic straightener, prefferably the Pro Tools one, about $40.

Well I have frizzy/curly wild hair, haha and I straighten it liek every second day and wahs my hair every second day and so like I don straighten my hair to make it completely straight, I jsut strsighten it to tame it and style it, my hair isnt very thick but i have otsa hair which makes it feel thick?? well my hair is smooth, but its layered a lot and I have split ends atm so well i an feel it needs a cute, its pretty soft as well, lol all I do is use a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner!!

i recommend Dove shampoo and conditioner. It makes your hair really soft and managable. Its not expensive at all, compared to the salon stuff. This stuff is my fave, it makes your hair smell fresh as well, its nice.

i have straight hair but its very frizzy so i straighten it,because your hairs already straight you wont need an expensive quality striaghtener. i got mine from a discount store for $15 and it makes my hair smooth in under 5 minutes.

alternatively, you can blow dry your hair straight by attaching an extension that concentrates the air down, and pointing it down at your head. search it on youtube if you dont know what i mean.

anti frizz creams and treatments wont make a real difference. i know from experience. just buy a straightener or hairdryer.
