How can I make my hair straight with a blow-dryer instead of having to use a straightener?

i stopped using my flat iron recently, it was damaging my hair %26amp; i only realised how damaged it was after i used a few vo5 hot oil treatments. now i blowdry it straight every morning. I dont have the best blowdryer (conair ionshine) but it comes with the attachment to the dryer that resembles a tube %26amp; i use a roundbrush. after taking a shower i apply loreal hot shine cream onto my hair, then blowdry my hair normally until its only a little wet. then i attach the attachment %26amp; curling my hair with the roundbrush. as i untwirl my hair from the roundbrush, i dry right over the hair, touching it. then when i get to the tips i stop. i do this to all parts of my hair. at first its VERY big %26amp; VERY POOFY but give it half an hour %26amp; it will calm down =) hope this helps.

use a round brush and dry your hair in sections using a round brush to smooth it out.

you can get blow drying cremes to protect your hair, but you dont need to use them. as you comb/brush your hair, blow-dry it until it's straight.

Try brushing out you're hair, and them blow drying part of you're hair and keep on brushing it down. My only guess, sorry

Using a barrel brush on towel dried hair, put up hair in sections and use the brush the hair while blowdrying it. Some blowdryers come with a brush attachment to straighten hair.

Be sure to use a thermal protector before blowdrying. Tresemme has one for $4.99.

Hope that helps

get a blowdryer with a flat end.

use a brush ... [ the round ones or squared ]

and blow dry each part

clip hair if needed

don't go blowing everywhere ... cause it will tangle

brush through and blowdry at the same time

repeat the process

THEN ** use " leave in conditioner "

be sure to trim your hair every 5 - 6 weeks. [ so it wont be dead ]

I have the same problem:

Wash hair with a straightening shampoo %26amp; condition, then put in a straightening serum. Divide your hair into sections, starting at the bottom (pin up the rest), use a round brush to hold hair in place and blowdry with the dryer pointed down (it reduces flyaways)!! Once the bottom section is dried, then let down another layer. Keep going til its all dry, then, if needed, put a small amount of straightening serum over the hair.

i have really wavy hair and i have to put the blowdryer up above my head and i point it down and i do that in sections. Normally i use a round brush also and then after my hair is totally dry it is always straight!
