Regardless of the cost all hair straighteners leave your hair damaged... it's like ironing your hair! Just because a particular straightener costs a fortune doesn't mean that it's the best on the market. I use a straightener by the brand name of 'Hi Lift', it's brilliant, only cost me $100 and although i have thick hair it's quite small and does the job perfectly. Shop around a bit before purchasing, maybe talk to your hairdresser and see if they've got any suggestions! Try to go for ceramic over stainless steel as the ceramic is better for your hair!!!

The price of the striaghtener doesn't matter,either way you will get damange putting something that is heated against your hair on a daily basis. Its un natural and if you don't use conditioner, could cause problems

go with porcelain plates they are the best. Not metal ones . Go check it out on ebay. We have a chi and less pricey one. The medium ranged porcelain one is the best. The metal ones totally tare up your hair. Make sure you use a good product to protect your hair when you are straightening. Try not to take it totally to the end of the hair. Just lightly hit the ends. It will dry out the ends and cause breakage. Just hit it lightly. The same thing with your bangs.

ceramic are best but make sure use a straitening spray too.if u use it daily it will cause some damage

anything that's not natural will damage your hair. You can find a good straightener for a good price but if you do get one try not to use it too often. I have a straightener but i rarely use it. Also if you do use a lot of product and heated tools on you hair, make sure you condition it as often as possible.

Well, that can go both ways. Yes, I have found that more expensive straighteners work better, but no matter what, straighteners will always damage your hair no matter how expensive.

Straighteners by definition damage your hair. You are breaking bonds in your hair in order to straighten it. So all will damage your hair to some degree.

If it costs more it does not mean it is actually higher quality. Check the ingredients and see how many conditioners %26amp; oils are included and in what order. Those with more will damage less, but you will only know how much through experince of yourself or others.
