I'm going to start flat-ironing my hair once I grow it out a little longer but I want to use some products that will protect my hair from the heat and make it easier to straighten with the Solia Hair Straightener i'm going to buy..any suggestions? =)

Buy some "Biosilk" ( you can buy this at costco or hairsalons ) when you come out of the shower, make sure all extra water is out of your hair, then pour some biosilk onto your hands, %26amp; then onto your hair. close your hair with a clip (do not use a hair-tie) %26amp; wait until it dries. then, straighten your hair (do not make straightener as hot as possible %26amp; to have less hair damage, make sure your straightner is ceramic ) %26amp; once you are finished, put a little biosilk again on your hair making it shiny.

I like to use Chi products with my flat iron. Its for really high heat temperatures and they have all kinds of products for flat irons. You can get it in most salons or off the internet.

you can use any kind of moisturizer but i suggest pantene pro v or really any kind of moisturizer in your hair even a little lotion if you cant afford a good product and this works for women of any color becuase it protects your hair while giving your scalp moisture
